about

Typo'd Mary began as a place to archive the stories of E. Scott Manning, and the artwork of J.N. Myers. The name "typodmary" was chosen as a weak joke reflecting the fact that typos seem to be contagious. To date, the only person that finds this funny (as in hilarious) is J.N. Myers.

J.N. Myers is currently in school and is studying the fine art of oil painting, with an emphasis in not making a mess. Occasionally she thinks about updating the two comics All The Growing Things and the Vagus Street Project but she's been too stressed out from classes to do much of anything but whine and paint. J.N. Myers is also the updater and "voice" (author?) of this site, so if you've any problems with the site, you can email me at jenn@typodmary.com

music

After throwing together the site for art and writing, I realized that I had 2/3 of the "see no evil," and "speak no evil" but I needed that last, important, third: "hear no evil." To help round the site out, I talked to James Melendrez of the Superfools, and politely asked him if I could put his stuff up for folks to listen to. He said "yes," which was nice of him.

The Superfools
Electronic Music from the mind of James Melendrez. Much of it is in the vein of "found sound" and uses large amounts of sampling. No matter what you're expecting, the Superfools will always surprise!
Brazenhead
Heavily influenced by both blues and rock, Brazenhead is the product of a series of Sundays, featuring J.N. Myers on bass, and Buddy Mey on guitar (and anything else that sounds in tune, on time, and just plain good.)

other miscellanea

I don't know what else to say, but if I figure it out, I'll put it here.

videos

A few neat videos where I use Cam Studio to show how I draw. No tutorials yet, but I'd like to put some here at some point.
